APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING

Appointments are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. Please arrive on time to receive the full benefit of your session.

REFUND, RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION

All massage and bodywork services are nonrefundable once rendered. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, Gift certificates and service packages are non-refundable. Gift certificates may be transferred to another individual with advance notice. Prepaid services may be rescheduled but are not eligible for refunds.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Late arrivals may result in a shortened session in order to accommodate subsequent clients, with the full session fee still applicable.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Client information is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing massage therapy services, except as required by law.

INFORMED CONSENT

Massage therapy is a therapeutic wellness service. Clients will be informed of the nature of massage therapy services and have the right to ask questions, request modifications, or discontinue a session at any time.

HEALTH & INTAKE COMMUNICATION

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information prior to each session. Changes in health status should be communicated before treatment begins to ensure services are appropriate within the scope of massage therapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Massage therapy may be contraindicated for certain medical conditions. Clients with acute illness, recent surgery, or complex medical concerns should consult their healthcare provider prior to receiving massage therapy.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if massage therapy is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

PAYMENT POLICY

All services are offered on a private-pay basis. Sage’s Touch Therapy does not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Payment is due at time of service. For your convenience, I accept:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (via Square)

  • Cash (Please bring exact change)

SCOPE OF PRACTICE & LICENSURE

This practice is owned and operated by a Licensed Massage Therapist who also holds an active Registered Nurse license, supporting a grounded, client-centered approach to wellness.

Massage therapy services are provided strictly within the scope of licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist and do not constitute medical or nursing care.

Services are provided using a trauma-informed approach, which emphasizes safety, choice, and client empowerment. Trauma-informed care is not trauma therapy, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment.

AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be 18 years old or older to receive services.

DRAPING & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Proper draping is used at all times in accordance with professional massage therapy standards to ensure client comfort, safety, and privacy.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Professional boundaries are essential to our work together. Any sexualized language, requests, or behaviors violate these boundaries. Such behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session and the discontinuation of all future services.
